James Badge Dale  @ The AFI Film Festival

I managed to shoot a few actors at the film festival, all in all a complete success. I posted up at the Roosevelt Hotel in their second most expensive room, The Junior Suite. I was shooting on spec for Backstage and Corbis. In this little room I had two setups one white seamless taped to the wall and my favorite teal backdrop, the same stuff I have been shooting for the past 6 years. I also Shot Jeremy Piven who walked in my room and literally almost turned around and walked right out. He than said ” Dude, you have paper taped to the wall?! Why did you say you had this little room.. we could have shot this at my house?” amazing.. he gained some trust after he put on his favorite record, Sublime - 40oz to freedom.
